From father to son, the Pépin’s have been playing with colors. After 30 years of working for a paint factory as a chemist, Mr. Armand Pépin decided to set out on his own, starting with the manufacturing of aluminum paint. It was in the basement of his home that he concocted his first recipes. Two years later he constructed a 2500 square feet factory where the present day Industries Pépin ltée stands, over 20 000 square feet.

Very early in the development of the company, Armand introduced his son Paul to his paint secrets. Mr. Paul Pépin became president in 1981. Then, with the addition of Paul’s son, David, a third generation was born to carry on the tradition.

Today, Industries Pépin manufactures and markets over 250 products, from interior latexs to exterior alkyds, as well as industrial enamels, varnishes, stains, primers and undercoats. Industries Pépin is now internationally known, with "Pépinture" and other Pépin products beginning to invade the world.
